Mouawad to Light Up Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show
World-renowned jeweler Mouawad was once again chosen to design and produce the Fantasy Bra for the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. This year’s highly anticipated creation, named the Fireworks Fantasy Bra, illustrates its name with more than 6,000 gems in a spectacular display of color.

Valued at $2 million, the bra and matching belt took more than 685 hours to make by hand, and feature 6,808 gemstones, including diamonds, yellow sapphires, blue topaz and pink quartz, set in 18-karat gold. The bra was inspired by the Victoria’s Secret Very Sexy Flirt bra, which debuted in stores and online Nov. 11.

Victoria’s Secret Angel Lily Aldridge was given the honor of wearing the Fireworks Fantasy Bra for the first time in the “Fireworks” section of the 2015 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, the televised version of which airs Dec. 8 on CBS. Other models walking the runway also wore Mouawad jewels, worth $15 million in total.

Mouawad has designed and produced many of the Victoria’s Secret Fantasy Bras, including:

  • The $15 million Red Hot Fantasy Bra for Gisele Bundchen in 2000;
  • the $10 million Star of Victoria Fantasy Bra for Karolina Kurkova in 2002, featuring the 60-carat Mouawad Mondera diamond;
  • the $11 million Very Sexy Fantasy Bra for Heidi Klum in 2003, featuring the 70-carat Mouawad Excelsior diamond;
  • the $10 million Heavenly ’70s Fantasy Bra for Tyra Banks in 2004, featuring a 70-carat pear-shaped diamond;
  • the $12.5 million Sexy Splendor Fantasy Bra for Gisele Bundchen in 2005, featuring a 101-carat pear-shaped diamond;
  • the $4.5 million Holiday Fantasy Bra for Selita Ebanks in 2007;
  • the $10 million Royal Fantasy Bra for Candice Swanepoel in 2013, featuring a 52-carat pear-shaped ruby;
  • and the 2014 double dazzlers, worth $2 million each, worn by Adriana Lima and Alessandra Ambrosio.
